Knives

I have other knives from this brand that I have bought from specialty stores and they were heavier and the handle was much better and fit in my hand nicely. I bought it for a gift and the person I gave it to would not let me send them back. I was disappointed I guess I should not order something I can't see and touch and make sure the brand isn't making a cheaper quality to meet a price standard. I would rather pay a little more and get a outstanding knife than to get something not as good but the person I bought it for doesn't cook much and they were happy so I learned a lesson.

Not what you would expect from Wusthof

I was expecting something similar to a Wusthof "Classic" knife. These are not quality forged knifes. They are stamped out of a lower grade sheet metal. The handles are made out of a cheaper material with Wustof stickers. Best case, these are one step up from a no name knife from Wamart.
