Fun but unnecessary

I bought this even after reading the reviews that talked about how much it leaked. I followed the instructions on the label, and--yep--it leaked. You can solve this problem if you don't mix the batter in the "pen." I found that it's really the milk that leaks. The batter itself, once mixed, is too thick to leak.
It was fun to spell the letters in my kids' names (but I completely forgot to write the asymmetrical letters backward!). I'm not sure they were really all that thrilled. But it will be fun for slumber parties AND it does help make perfectly round silver-dollar pancakes.

Kids Delight

I have fun "drawing" designs with the pen on the griddle...so do my four grandkids who are here for breakfast often. They are getting better than me at it. They are from 9 years to 4 years and can all handle the "pen." Very easy to clean, too!
