Although this is pricey, it is an excellent quality. The three tiers of stainless loops do a great job of thoroughly but gently combining ingredients. Sturdy construction.

Kuhn Rikon makes one that is just as good
This is a very well made product. I bought it because of the review in Cook's Illustrated. However, Kuhn Rikon makes virtually the same product with same number of tines, one ounce heavier, both made in China (probably in the same factory) for about half the price and the quality is just as good.

Works like it should
For some it might be a little heavy, but I like it. It works very well and does a quick job of things. A light whisk with fewer loops would take longer and end up making the arm more tired.

Excellent whisk
A little pricey but worth the money! This whisk is well made and easy to clean (for the most part). It really puts those cheaply made whisks to shame.
