Pricey stuff but works
I used one container from my previous batch to make the next batch and actually repeated that again getting 3-seven jar batches from one packet of dry culture. I actually think you can go more generations than that. If you use a new packet for each batch your cost per jar nets out to be about the same price as store bought yogurt but of course you are getting a better food out of making it in the yogurt maker.

I've been using these with my new yogurt maker, and they are excellent! Makes the most delicious yogurt.

Does the job
This was the starter that came with my yogurt maker so I've continued to use it. It works better than using a little yogurt from the previous batch but I cannot compare it to other brands of starter. The stated temperature range at which you add the starter is fairly narrow. I've found that I can add the starter at a lower temp (98 F being the lowest so far) and still have the yogurt turn out.

price value
I have used this product for 2 years and have looked various websites for it. I believe the price, including your site is a little high. would like to get a better price for purchasing a greater volume.

works great, good value...
I like using this particular product, since my yogurt maker is the same brand. The starter is easy to use, dissolves quickly and produces a quality product every time. I would definately use this again.
