PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Like it's predecessor, the Cuisinart Mini Prep, this Mini-Prep Plus food processor has a 3-cup capacity work bowl and is great for all those small food-preparation tasks like chopping an onion or nuts, mincing herbs, or making fresh salsa. It has 2 speeds -- Chop and Grind -- for maximum control. Plus, it has an auto-reversing SmartPower blade and a reversible motor, so you can switch from chop to grind without interrupting the flow. It offers the same quality and modern design you've come to appreciate from Cuisinart. Please note: This unit does not make dough.

I was in need of a small food processor and since I already owned several Cuisinart appliances and have been extremely pleased with each appliance, I thought the value, as had been past practice, would far exceed the price - unfortunately, I was mistaken. This food processor is extremely cheaply made, has no weight so to speak of to keep it from jumping off the counter with every press of a button, and althouth it has two speeds - chop and grind - it purees everything within the blink of an eye. To give it a fair chance, I have attempted use of this appliance with several different types of food. It has failed miserably each time. Word to the wise - don't waste your money.

Great Food Processor
This is a great little processor and perfect for small jobs. I made salsa with it the day I received it and really loved the results. The blades are very sharp so it only took a few seconds to chop an onion. I have many Cuisinart products and love every one of them.

good processor
I have basil plants and make pesto every week and I really like this processor. I had another brand the same size and it didn't have the reversible blade option and it really makes a difference. You can't stuff all the basil leaves in at once, but once it gets going you can add along the way. It chops garlic like a dream. I would recommend it!

I had an older Cuisinart mini-prep. It was okay for chopping onions and garlic. With the new mini-prep, it's like a dream come true! I can make salsa's, chop nuts etc. It doesn't smell like it's going to burn up (the older one did). And it doesn't mush anything ( unless you want to). I find it to be a great tool without taking up space.
