Outstanding product!

Must have for the large family!
Left over turkey, ham, roast? Slice it thin and you will look forward to the leftovers on a sandwich! This slicer is heavy enough, with good rubber feet, that it won't slide around the counter.

I love the slicer.

Best food sliver I have owned
I a very happy with the performance of this food slicer. The width selector makes it possible to slice both thick and paper thin slices of meat or cheese. Clean up is easiest when you take the time to take the unit apart. Well worth the price.

I was definately impressed with the abilities of the slicer! Final set-up, out of the box, consisted -- basically -- of sliding the sharpener accessory onto the unit. The unit was well-packaged (3 boxes, including the shipping box from Cooking.com) for shipment.
Pre-cooked beef from a wholesale grocer (Cash & Carry)? Able to be very finely sliced with little effort. Just turn the dial down, hit the two switches (power and safety switch), place the roast on the tray, push the tray -- and voila! Fine-sliced deli roast beef for sandwiches! Larger roasts do need to be sectioned to fit into the tray -- and still be able to fit between the working edge and 'push plate' (that holds the meat/cheese in place during cutting). But for all but a few potential users, this shouldn't be an issue, in my opinion.
Next test: Cheese. Mozzarella, in this case. Again. Set the dial. Power up. Nice thin slices.
Note for buyers.. and, this is NOT a complaint. This unit takes up a fair amount of countertop space by the time that you include the area for the travel of the tray as you run the meat/cheese/... across the cutter. If you're tight for countertop space, just be aware of that. But, it is a PHENOMENAL unit!
