I love the Caphalon products. Love my stock pot. However, the lid on the stockpot shattered for no apparent or reasonable reason.
It had been off the hot stock pot for atleast 12 to 15 minutes when I put it in warm/hot dishwater. (warmer than tepid but not hot)when it shattered into a million pieces.
I have used and taken well care of all my glass lids and this was an unusual experience. I do not believe this should have happened.
It may have had a defect. However, I was able to replace it at a very reasonable price at your website..........thank you
