These pie plates will get lots of use and a good price for them.After closely inspecting each plate There are visible glass defects within the plate bottoms and not on the outside.However the pies will never know this,will they???..

I was shocked that the shipping & handling cost more than the item I purchased. You might want to look into a different method of shipping.

Perfect pie plate

This is exactly what you want in a pie dish...good size, good shape, heat resistant, dishwasher safe, and a great value. Love the way the bottom crust is done in these dishes. I have been baking pies for 40 years and will never use anything else again.

perfectly good glass pie pans

I've always used metal pie plates, although have had some recipes recommend using glass plates to bake in. So I thought I should use these, as it seems that cooks/reviewers also recommend them for pies as well. With limited use so far, I am very happy with this type of pan. It is a simple product and does what you expect.
