Nice set but over priced.

The stand wobbles and doesn't stand straight. The cups slide off because of the lean of the stand

This should have been an excellent product, but unfortunately it is spoiled by having a defective stand. The measuring cups fall off the stand with the slightest touch, because the hooks on which they are placed stick out at right angles. If they had been angled just a degree or two upward, it would be perfect.

customer service i ordered the spoon rest/measuring spoons/and measuring cups.... the 1 cup is bent....i sent an e-mail in ref to that to advise i would send it back....p.d. responded with regrets and that they were to send me a postage paid envelope to exchange it. this is going into the 2nd week and i have not heard from yuns. ann wilson

I had reservations regarding ordering the measuring cup set having read previous reviews. However, I kept thinking about the set and decided to order them anyway, knowing I could return them if I wasn't completely satisfied. I am so glad I went ahead. The set is lovely on my counter, and unless your kitchen is on a rolling ship, I do not feel they are in danger of toppling. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent, and although certainly an indulgence, I am delighted I treated myself to them!

I really love this measuring set. The stand is sturdy and the set looks great on my granite countertops. I especially love the wide handles on each cup.
I like that the cups are rounded so its easier to get ingredients out (as opposed to square corners that are more difficult to get some ingredients like peanut butter out of).
The quality of the set is superb. The ONLY thing I don't like about the set is the saying on the top of the stand. I was not aware that it would be there because it was not mentioned in the details or in any review I read. ("Country cookin makes ya good lookin"). That really takes away from the set for me, not my idea of elegant. Nice set though.

I loved the Pewter Measuring Cup Set however when I received it, the stand was severly bent. I straightened it out but it will not go perfectly straight. Any hints on what to do? We paid lots of money for it and I did not expect it to be bent. Thanks Tammy Ewing

The stand arrived in pretty bad shape with the main rod bend. Some gentle shaping straightened thing out but left the top a little out of square. Thought about returning, but in putting it on the counter it looks ok. The cups are great. I would return but it seems that working with this pewter material it must be impossible to acheive a stand that is perfect. The "store" should warn that the stand will not be perfect. For the price this is not good. Quality control must be nonexistant.

The cups are awsome. Beautiful craftsmanship. I love the large handle on them.

You shouldn't get so excited over measuring spoons, but I just love them. They feel perfect in your hand and are so much easier to use than the conventional measuring cups. My husband is even offering to bake with me. This is worth the price alone.

My mom loved the spoons. I read other reviews that the stand was not sturdy however my set was perfect.

I have admired these when Paula used them on her show, but the price was much more than I was willing to pay. When a sale came along, I splurged -- and they are really lovely. I will enjoy using them when baking especially, and they are delightful to see just sitting on the shelf.

I bought these and the spoons as a birthday gift for my wife. She loves them. They are a beautiful addition to our newly remodeled kitchen. No more hiding the measuring utensils. A real showpiece.

I purchased this in the Lady & Sons in Savannah. I love it and so do the visitors who enter my kitchen. This year, I bought one for my daughter's kitchen because I have come to rely on this so much. It is handy and the measurements are spot on. I can usually just rinse it off and towel it dry and right back on the rack it goes, just that fast! It is a bit expensive, but it is very good quality and I have no problem with the metal, it falling over, or anything other reviewers have spoke about. It stays shiny and is a beautiful addition to the kitchen. I love it. this, in itself would make a beautiful shower or wedding gift for someone you care for, enough to stand alone, no other gift needed. comes wrapped in a nice box with tissue as well.

I love this set. I have the spoon set that matches. I get lots of compliments.

The measuring cups are something I had admired for some time and they don't dissapoint. They are sturdy, and just a real show piece. That being said, the price was really out there. I am a country cook like Paula. Paula may be forgetting her bag lady days. It was nearly $200 for a set of measuring spoons. I could have done without the embossed "Country Cooking Makes You Good Lookin". Just her logo would have been nicer.

Very nice in appearance but not accurate in measurement.Compared to my older pewter pieces these were lite in weight.

I love my new pewter measuring cup set by Tin Woodsman. It is very stylish and very pretty setting on my new granite counter top. Even though the price is way up there, I splurged and purchased the set. I do find that the one (1) cup measurement cup has the handle offset differently from the way the other measurement cups are. I contacted Crosby and Taylor (the people who made this) and they tell me that because of the size of the one (1) cup's size, the handle was set on differently than the other sizes so that it would hang correctly. Guess that is the way it has to be but it sure is different. A little awkward.

The measuring cups are very accurate so don't be afraid to use them.

Normally I could not justify spending that much for a measuring sup set but this is special and if you are wanting something super special, this is it!
