I absolutely love this mortar and pestle. The weight, color and quality of the marble is superb and the size is just right whether you're crushing a little or a lot. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition.

I bought this for a close friend because he loves to grind his own spices, but didn't have a vessel to use. This is a perfect size! This mortar and pestle set is made of very nice looking marble. It's also quite heavy and doesn't 'walk' all over the counter when you try to use it.
As always, from the Food Network store, I am very please with the product.

A perfect size for grinding herbs and seasonings. I use coconut sugar which tends to be a bit lumpy. A few seconds later and it comes out just right. A must have for every kitchen.

Love this product too. I use alot of Rosemary and I can use this product to make a powder out of my spices. Then the spice is easily coated on meat and other foods.
