Inferior quality.

We love poached eggs, and we thought this would be the product to have in our home. The eggs stick in the cups even with butter or oil applied, and the metal handle gets very hot. Possibly the teflon is inferior, silverstone would be better. A different kind of pot handle, other than metal, would be a big improvement.. Would not buy again or recommend to a friend.

First couple of times we used it was just great. But after 2 uses the teflon is scratched and coming off. I would have thought with all the updates on teflon over the years this wouldn't have happened.

Disappointed in quality

I was definitely disappointed in this product and its quality. I have a 6 cup All Clad Egg Poacher and wanted to add a 4 cup for Eggs Benedict over the holidays with all my quests. This is such inferior quality in every way from weight to performance. I was very disappointed and wish I hadn't bothered with this product.

This is a very well made item. The eggs will come out easily if you coat the pans first. The only problem I've encountered with it is trying to get ahold of the individual pans right after cooking. The pans are still hot and it is difficult to get your fingers as close to the little handles due to the heat. But, once I get this figured out I feel I will love it. A real plus is that it is very easy to clean.
