15 piece cookware

The small pot is small.... Looks almost as if it is a child's toys. Not pleased the 15th pieces was consisting of the measuring spoons. In reality it's 10 piece set, with bonus measuring spoons. Overall I'm ok with it.

They are very pretty but....

The color swept my away but wish I'd seen them in person before I bought them. Here's what I don't like: The top of the pot is narrower than the bottom so when stirring, you have to angle your spatula to get around the edges in the bottom. The handle is riveted on so you have to jump over the rivets on the inside when stirring and scraping the edges with a spatula. In trying to cut down on fat, I use a spray-on oil to fry or saute but the instructions say not to do this because it will ruin the non-stick finish. Lastly, instructions say not to leave lid on tight after turning down heat or it will create a vaccuum and you may damage the lid trying to get it off. I steamed some rice but was afraid the leave the lid on after removing it from the heat; it didn't turn out too well and I don't make rice often enough to buy a rice cooker. Anyway, they are gorgeous pots and pans; wish I could afford to just hang them up for display and cook on something a little more utilitarian.
