A gift for my sister's birthday

My sister and her husband make and sell pork sausage products from a special room in their home it is decorated in a "pig" theme... They even have a flying pig that circles from the ceiling fan.. This pig cutting board is perfect. Nice size and nice smooth surface..

Actually the cutting board was a very good value for the money-----however it probably weighed more than I do. It was too large & weighed a ton! I think the measurements & weight should be indicated in the description. I wound up having to return it, which cost me an additional $13.03---so that plus the initial shipping charges of $10.44 means I'm out $23.47! I am not happy!

All Things Pigs

I collect all piggie items. I also work for Smithfield Foods of Smithfield, VA - the largest pork producers and distributors in the world. This pig cuttting board was right up my alley as my old pig cutting board had "curled" from water damage. This Paula Dean pig cutting board is beautiful but too large in my opinion as it consumes a huge portion of counter space. If you have the space I would highly recommend it as it is beautifully made. DON'T LET IT GET WET!!

It is so pretty I don't want to use it but I will. Nice large size. Two people could use it at the same time. I show it to all my friends. I am going to use one side to work on and the other side for show. Great product from a great lady. I love Paula Deen products and will buy more

It's hard to write a review on this because once I got it for my husband, he refused to use it. It's so beautiful that it has become a decoration instead of cutting board. It is well made and larger than I expected, but can't rate how well it works :)

I bought two of these

I bought two of these, gave one to my son who saw it in a store and told me about it. He likes his as much as I like mine. I used to cook for my husband and three children but now it is just the two of us. I still enjoy cooking and little things like a pig cutting board can make my day. It is as useful as it is decorative.

Size of board

I must have missed the dimensions of the board. I expected (and wanted) a smaller one...HOWEVER, I am using it. And it sure is cute. (I was hoping for one that could be used as a serving piece for maybe a chunk of cheese and some salami....sure can get a lot of cheese and salami on this puppy! (ehh..piggy!) Shipping was timely and it was well packaged, by the way. I await visitors to comment on my new cutting board! I'm sure it will bring a smile or two.

I am very happy with this purcahse. This is the cutest cutting board I own. I will probably use it for cheeses when entertaining but for now it is on display above my cabinets in my kitchen. Great value for the money, love this piggy cutting board! Great size too!

If you have a country decor, it's cute sitting on the counter. I don't use it for cutting on, but instead to put hot dishes out of the oven, prepare sandwiches, and a hot plate for my table. It makes me smile whenever I walk into the kitchen.

This was a gift to my husband who told me about his experience in school (many years ago) making a "pig bread board." He wondered what ever happened to it. Now he has one which is probably much better.
