Poor quality control

The pie board was flawed and had fairly deep indentations where it hadn't been buffed out enough (like deep scratches made by a work tool). I realize wood is imperfect, however, this was workmanship not natural wood imperfections.
Rolling pin had a large gap between handle and rolling pin part on one side where food could get caught and it would be hard to clean in between & keep clean in that area. I was highly disappointed for the cost versus quality of these items. The only thing that was perfect was the pie plate.
I'm sure there are quality guidelines that this company is supposed to follow - there are at the company I work for.

Not Impressed

I had ordered this as a Christmas present and was very disappointed. Another outsourced product! There are measurement conversions that I thought would be helpful for the "new cook", however, the spelling errors were unacceptable.

Poor quality

I was looking for a rolling pin that had a longer length than average and felt this would be a good choice. There are pits in the wood (great for bacterial growth) and the handles are crooked. Also, the handles have a gap between them and the edge of the rolling pin which, again, allows for dough to creep into the cracks. Too much risk for bacteria to grow!
