Equipped with a powerful motor and a durable attachment that features a premium stainless steel blade, the KitchenAid immersion blender churns to the bottom of tall pots and pitchers with ease. The 5-ft. long power cord provides exceptional freedom. The immersion hand blender comes with a stainless steel attachment for blending everything from cold beverages to hot soups. The attachment measures 8 inches — perfect for blending inside deep stockpots or tall bar blender jars. A stainless steel splashguard covers the blending blades to help prevent splatters. Thanks to the crew that credited me back for special timed delivery that didn't get to my house until a day later for Valentine gift. All in all, product is lovely and has been used several times since opening. A little displeased with the caliber of the plastic on unit...thinking it should be better for the cost of the machine, but the unit being red definitely brightens up the kitchen area when in use! The container was wonderful to do a salad dressing and be able to store in same container. The sack that all go back into when not in use is a little cumberson...not all pieces fit!! I guess that is why we have drawers in the kitchen!!! Had to clean out a drawer so that this apparatus will be handier to use in the baking area of kitchen.
EXCELLENT choice to have in the kitchen for that very special chef!!!

I can't beleive I waited so long to purchase this. Strong motor, quiet, gets the job done.
Smoothies are a breeze to whip up and no blender to clean. I use it all the time for quick salsas, hummus and creamy dressings.
Eliminates, for the most part, the need for a conventional blender and food processor for smaller recipes. Cute little storage bag included. Buy this...you won't regret it.
