It has a jar capacity of 7 quarts, 7 pints, 7-12oz jelly jars, 7 half pints or 7-4oz jelly jars. Without its rack, this old-fashioned, time-honored porcelain-on-steel pot becomes a perfect preserving kettle for large recipes.

Exactly what I wanted - at a great price

I've been canning for over 40 years. I finally needed to replace my old water-bath canner, but the only ones I could find in stores were $45 or more. This one was half that price! It arrived even more quickly than promised, and in perfect condition! We'll be eating well all winter long! Thank you!!

Reminds me of the one my Mom had when I was little. It's the perfect size, very sturdy, and I like that it includes a nice jar rack too. Definitely recommend!
